This is a American propaganda poster during the second ward war.
'quiet!' 'know your place, shut your face!' the text on this poster is short and sweet, sharp and harsh and at the same time gets the message across to the audience. The audience can see that all the text is in capital letters this makes the message come across that much stronger, Also the fact it rhymes makes the saying memorable. The message means be carful what you say because the enemy has spies everywhere. I think it is like the uncle sam poster using the same text techniques.
On the poster you can see a males hand covering another man's (who looks quite shocked) face, the artist has made it clear that this poster is aimed at Americans as there is a American flag on the males sleeve. I think its clever that the message is short & rhymes as its more memorable.
